To my uncle Joe,the longest living brother of my father. May you rest in peace in the Bohemian Cemetery next to the mother of your children, Ruth Dalhaug Dobrovolny. The memories left to those of us who knew you will bring smiles and wonder of all you accomplish and shared while you were with us. May your family find comfort in those memories.

Sending my deepest sympathy to my Uncle Joe's family and friends. I remember when I was on a cross country tour with a friend at 19. My friend was jogging up the road a piece from Joe's house and got my truck stuck in the mud. She ran back to the house and Joe jumped right in and gave her a tow. That's the kind of man I remember, helpful, friendly and very committed to family. I miss the family reunions with all of Joe and Karoline's clan. So sorry for his loss.

Many wonderful memories of this great man while I was growing up in Ross. He gave me my first job of marking cans in the store with a crayon pencil. I'll always remember how he helped my mother and us kids when my father passed away in 1969. There's a reason why they called this the greatest generation and Joe was surely one of them. RIP Joe and my sympathies go out to all your family. I will join you one day in the Bohemian cemetery when my time on earth is done. Thanks for all you've done for everyone.

James, Mark and the Dobrovolny Family I am truly sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I remember the days clearly yet growing up and living in Ross with Joe and Ruth being neighbors right across the street. Joe was a great handy man for advice, and fixing things, on the house. God Bless and Godspeed.

Sending my sincere condolences to the family. Joe was one of the best mail carriers. If one was lucky enough to catch him dropping off the mail,...he always had a friendly smile, a few kind words and would sometimes have gum, tootsies rolls. ?? He added so much sunshine to ones day. God Bless you Joe and you loved ones.
