Uncle Jay, you were such a huge part of our family and life will be very different without you!! I will miss your stories and your hugs. Our memories of going to the cabin at Fort Peck will always be cherished. Your laugh will always be ingrained in my memories. Fly high. May you rest in peace!! Love you forever

My heart is heavy to read of Jays passing. We served as volunteers for Community Memorial Hospital ambulance service together. I will miss those “hello hugs”. Gods Blessing to the family.

Jay was one of my trainers while becoming an EMT. He was a soft spoken leader and a great role model for me and the other trainees. I still makes me laugh when I recount my first run with Jay and Ivan Peterson on a call to Fairview....it was definitely a learning experience. Jay will always hold a special place in my memories.

Jason , Brian and Families, I am so sad to hear about your Dad passing. I talked to Jay shortly after LaVonne passed away and we got caught up on what everyone was doing. It just seems like yesterday that we lived next door. Time goes to fast. I will miss both your Dad and Mom. Great memories. You are in my thought and prayers.

I am sorry to learn of Jay's passing. We were classmates at Sidney High School and he also was so helpful to my mom in Eastern Star. He was a good man. My condolences to the family.

To Jays family, I am so shocked to read about Jay. He has been a dear Eastern Star Friend for many years. I just recently participated in an Eastern Star Funeral with him. I am unable to attend either service due to other obligations but the Masonic family has lost a great person. Jay was kind, and caring man and I valued his friendship. Not too long ago he told me if anything happened he didn't want an Eastern Star Service, mainly I believe because the numbers were dwindling. I shall miss our friendship, visits, and hugs. He is now back with LaVonne and not lonely anymore. Rest in peace my friend. Star has lost another great representative of the order.
