Mr. Curtis, Mike, and Susie,

We miss you and we are praying mightily for you.

Oh, and Billy Graham has something to say on this topic too:

“Someday you will read or hear that [I have passed away]. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.” ~Billy Graham~

We were so sad to hear the news of your passing. My mother and I have fond memories of you from our growing up years. You were an inspiration to women with all of your firsts in Westmoreland County and elsewhere. You will be missed. Love, Jeanne, Del, and Aunt Dot

I am so sorry to hear about Linda. I am praying for the family as they go through this trying time. The amount of time I worked with Linda was not long but I grew to respect and admire her so much. I will remember her as the spunky lady she was.

I met Linda in 2008 when she came to work for the State of Alabama. She became a friend who never failed to amaze me with her kindness and intelligence. Miss you my friend!
Curt, you and your family are in my thoughts.

My condolences Curt, we lost a very nice lady.
We were best friends growing up in New Alexandria. I think of the fun we had every time I drive by the Steele house. (Ed) Our female friendship started with a few late night gab sessions at Slippery Rock. A fiesta gal who demonstrated empowerment way before it was a buzzword. Loved sharing a few weeks together in Colorado and a Thanksgiving feast in Calif in those early pivotal years of women raising children and men following careers, until we were ready to rejoin the workforce. Linda left a mark on our hearts. Though we lost touch for a decade with your latest moves, our Christmas correspondences seemed to unite us in thoughts and hopes for one another's families over the years. We will cherish our memories of her wit, her thoughtful conversations, and her spirited demeanor among our life experiences. Our deepest condolences, Ed and Darlene
