I worked with Amy at West Side when she used to sub. I always tried to make her take as many sub jobs as she could, just so I could hang out with her. I was instantly drawn to her fun and caring personality, and she quickly became my favorite work buddy. I am so sad to hear about her passing, I will miss seeing her at Reynolds and briefly catching up. She was definitely a one of a kind soul. Sending so much love to her friends and family.

Amy had a heart like no other, never met a stranger, never left anyone feeling alone or unnoticed. She would give you the shirt off her back if she had to without thinking twice. She lit up a room everywhere she was. This loss is a community loss because she had such a huge impact! RIP Amy

Lloyd and family, my heart breaks for you all. The moment I heard your very sad news, the vision of Amy entering our classroom as a new student at West Side came to mind. She was one of my first friends as I was new that year too and our moms drove station wagons lol Amy and I bumped into each other putting our carts away Wedn afternoon (Thanksgiving Eve). Was so good to see her smiley face. Will surely miss her. Praying for you all.

Amy was an amazing woman! I have known her for years, met her when I was a teaching at Sidney Public Schools. She loved every kid that walked in the door. She would help anyone that needed help, young or old. She had a lot sass and the community definitely lost a good one. She will be greatly missed! Prayers to the Fugate family!

Oh how we harassed each other! She was quick witted and funny and usually chewing my butt for something. Especially if I was not her nurse. No matter what she was always laughing and smiling. Justina and Donald she was so very proud to be your Mom. Lloyd she was so happy your were hers and you got HER! May your memories bring you comfort and healing! Heal together. She would.expect that. Deepest sympathy. Prayers for all of you!

I am still in shock over the news of Amy's passing. Since I came back to town, she and I talked of getting together to catch up more than the few seconds when I'd see her at the store. She was one person who was always kind to me in high school and so much fun to be around. I saw her last Wednesday when I had to get my ingredients for my frog eye salad and they were out of cool whip. I was telling her that and she said she wouldn't be able to make hers then. I told her I was going to check the other store and asked if she wanted me to grab some for her since she had to close and she told me that I was only allowed to grab her one. I brought her two and when she asked what she owed I told her not to worry about it. Her smile was thank you enough. Your family continues to be in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Amy 14 years ago when I worked at Dr.Cook's office, and she has been a friend of mine ever since. I loved laughing with her, hearing about Justina and Donald, sharing pictures and just knowing she was there.
She always made me feel better when I saw her, even when I was going thru chemo. I will miss her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
