I met Gene at the ladies' league in Sidney, and was blessed with many years of friendship. Whether it was league night, out of town tournaments, birthday parties, or a girls' trip to Billings, we had so much fun with nonstop laughing. Gene was always the life of the party and I cherish those years. She was such a special person with a wicked sense of humor. I feel blessed to have happy memories.

Genie was a true blessing to our family. Her hard work and dedication to my father's medical practice is what helped made it so successful. Genie was a big part of my childhood as I'd come in to visit my Dad in his office often; sometimes I'd hang out next to her desk and chat while I waited for him for lunch. She and Doug were so proud of their family, and a great Sidney Eagles fans. Sending love to all!
