To Heidi’s family, I am so sad to hear of her passing. I didn’t know that she was going through this awful cancer crap. Heidi will always be remembered by all who have had the privilege to have met her. She had a personality that was so bright and upbeat. Her smile was so beautiful. She had a gift to make the grumpiest person smile and/or laugh. She always had a twinkling sparkle in her eyes. Sometimes it made you think “Oh no, what does she have up her sleeve???” She was one of the funniest people that I have ever known. Cherish all your memories with and of her. Now that she is no longer in pain and not suffering anymore, she has been set free, to be a part of Gods beautiful garden.
RIP Heidi and let your wings soar through the skies
Thank you for being you Heidi, you will be missed by sooo many people.

I find myself reflecting on Heidi after learning of her passing. Heidi was always involved in activities. One that wasn't mentioned was playing softball. We played together many, many years. I was one of the players that was on the softball team along with Laura Webb, Kris Rehak, Tammy & Kim Bethke, Dorothy Moline and myself, and a few more that I unfortunately I can't remember. We got a sponsor called Macabar. They bought us white hats. We never any uniforms, just hats. We were happy with that. We were a bunch of girls who loved to play ball. I remember Heidi was quite the hitter. She was able to place hit that ball wherever needed! It might have been right-field, left-field, center.... Our team reminded me of the show, "Sandlot." We just played ball and didn't even need a coach! We did have a couple of supporters who came to each and every game. They were Heidi's Dad, Ronny Ryan and my Grandfather, Francis Johnson. They both, never missed a game! They both cheered us on and brought their bike horns and honked and honked for us and kept cheering us on every game! May Heidi's incredible life be a reminder to us all that one Person CAN make a difference!

Thoughts and condolences to Heidi's family & close friends. I know her passing is a huge loss for so many. I've known Heidi for as long as I can remember- being a part of the 11th Avenue gang of kids who roamed those streets in the 60's & 70's! So many great memories & funny Heidi-isms that keep me smiling. I know Heidi's faith was so important to her and she's now resting with God, the angels & all the loved ones that went before her.

Heidi was quite the character, always ready to have a deep intelligent conversation or to pull a prank or just be a comedian.
