To Ron’s family,

Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.

Although I only had the privilege of knowing Ron for a short time, I feel incredibly grateful that our paths crossed. This past winter, we connected after discovering we were both descendants of the same Stromstad family from Norway that came to Minnesota & North Dakota. What began as a shared interest in genealogy quickly became conversations I genuinely looked forward to. Ron was kind, welcoming, and generous in sharing information about our family’s history.

I had hoped that one day we would have the opportunity to meet up, continue our conversations, and learn even more about the Stromstad family together. I am deeply saddened that opportunity will never come.

Even though our friendship was brief, Ron left a lasting impression on me. I will always be thankful for the connection we made and for the time we spent getting to know one another.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and in knowing that Ron touched the lives of people far beyond those he saw every day.
