Vivian, oh how I will miss you! I can not remember a time when Vivian was not a part of our life!!! From them moment my kids were born. There was church and her involvement with children, she had an unwavering love for her Lord and she is in His presence now!! Then there was dance stuff, pageants, YES, and countless other things. Thank you for pouring into my life and my kids life’s. I am so thankful that we got to visit you. I know you knew we were there. To all of her family we are praying for you in the days ahead for comfort and peace. Vivian, “Well done thou good and faithful servant”.

Vivian was such a shining example of how to serve others. From her passion and dedication to the lord and church, to the long list of how she helped others in the community she left a legacy of which will be remembered by many. Her passion for children's programs of all types, music, the arts and the community shined through her at every interaction. I consider myself so very blessed to have gotten to know her on many levels and work with her for 20+ years! I will miss our visits the most. Vivian was a wonderful person. I remember her coming into the school and helping us with the Thanksgiving lunch and talking to the kids about ND history. She helped out many people and volunteered for many different projects and didn’t expect anything in return. Our community will miss her! My heart aches for her family.

I imagine she was greeted by God who “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Well done indeed.

She will be missed by the so very many people whose lives she touched and is happily reunited with so many loved ones including her dad, Duane, Maro, Mrs. Hovland and Mrs. Lindsley.

I have so many good memories of her from the UMARC days and know they are nothing compared to the memories you all carry of her.

Where does one start… Vivian was one of the most giving person. She gave so much to many many people. Her work is now done here on earth, God saw her struggles, even though she put up a very hard fight to beat cancer. She still was able to smile and happy through her fight. God is now wrapping his loving arms around her and telling her that it is now time for her to rest.

Although I haven't seen Vivian in years, whenever I think of Williston I think of Vivian. She was a great friend in high school, college and beyond. Faithfully attended the Church used her gifts and talents where needed in Church for a number of years produced the Christmas plays with the kids
A counter of the Church finances received the Distinguished Service Award from the General Church of the Nazarene for her years of faithfulness dedication loyalty and service to the denomination

I was blessed to know Vivian and to have many adventures with her through Special Olympics and the Prairie Rose Games. Vivian and the guys accepted Duane and I into their group and added so much joy and fun into our lives. I remember planting trees, clean-up weeks, birthday parties and the UMARC Christmas party. Vivian will be missed but has left a legacy of stewardship, kindness and acceptance for all. Blessings upon your family.
