Visitation
Her wake service will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Johnny Bird Veteran's Memorial Center, rural New Town, ND.

Family and friends will gather at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home in Watford City and leave for the wake services at 4:00 PM.

Service
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Johnny Bird Veteran's Memorial Center, rural New Town, ND. Father Roger Synek will officiate.

Her funeral arrangements are with Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Watford City.

Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery, southwest of Mandaree, ND.

Janice Marie Smith, 62, of Newtown, ND passed away unexpectedly, July 29, 2018. She was born December 28, 1955 in Stanley, ND to Arthur Clyde Smith and Isabelle Florence Smith (Good Iron).

She is survived by her siblings, Kenny Smith (Sandy), Mike Smith (Dana), Patsy Seaboy (Danny), Doris Fox, Brenda Smith and Barb DeSautel, adopted son, Lorne Walking Hawk and wife Kim, numerous nieces, nephews, grandson and granddaughters and her aunt, Marilyn and Allan DeYoung.
