Gregory James Wing was born May 26, 1973 to Dana and Linda (Umback) Wing. He was the last of 4 boys. Greg attended school in Glendive, Savage and Sidney, MT. Growing up in Glendive, he was in a bowling league, and won many trophies, and badges that his mom had to sew on his jacket.
In 1979, Don Posivio became his dad. Don remembers taking Greg fishing, when Greg accidently threw his pole in the river. He was sure he was in big trouble.
The family started going to West Side Baptist Church in Glendive, and one summer Greg went to Bible Camp. He came home and said he got saved, his mom was newly saved, so the summer of 1983 Greg and his mom were both baptized in the Yellowstone River.
As a little boy, Greg loved Star Wars, and had to have every new toy that came out. Then, as he grew up, he lost interest and one day threw them all away. He always regretted that.
Greg loved hunting and fishing, and spent a lot of time doing both.
While working in Billings, he met Carol Cutright. They were married, and moved back to Sidney when daughter Morgan arrived. Carol’s son, Matthew, was adopted into the family. Greg liked construction work and did that most of his work career, until his body gave out. He especially liked working for B&B construction. Greg was a die-hard Los Angeles Raiders fan. He always wished he could have gone to a game before they moved to Las Vegas.
Life just got too hard, and he left us way too soon. We will always love Greg and he is always in our hearts. He loved his family and always had a smile for anyone.
Greg is survived by; his parents Don & Linda Posivio of Sidney; his brothers, Gary Wing of Sioux City, IA, and Donny Wing of Sidney; and his children, Matthew Cutright, and Morgan Wing both of Sidney.
He is preceded in death by; his father Dana Wing; his brother, Dick Wing; his uncles, David & George Wing; and his grandparents, George & Alice (Sheehan) Umback, George & Oral Wing, and Don & Margaret Posivio.
