Graveside Service
In honoring Steve’s wishes there will only be a graveside service held at the Zion Cemetery in Tioga, ND on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 4:00 PM. Pastor Richard Carr will officiate.

Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Tioga have been entrusted with arrangements and services.

Steven Leon Syverson, 71, passed away in the comfort of his home in Tioga, North Dakota on October 8, 2021.

He was born December 29, 1949 to Roy Syverson and Grace Syverson (Kleven) in Tioga, ND. He was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church and later graduated from Tioga High School in 1967. Steve went on to work in the oil field all his life. He loved playing poker, fishing, gardening, his family and his cats.

Steven is survived by his two daughters, Desiray (Jeff) Young and her children, Matt, Morgan, and Ryan Young; Stephanie Helms and her son, Kyler Syverson; and his son, Christopher Syverson, and his children, Chloie and Aiden Syverson; three brothers, Terry (Lilo) Syverson, Earl (Susan) Syverson and Robert (Joni) Syverson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
