Oh sweet Arlene, I was so sad when I read of your passing. Remembering all the fiun nights in your basement doing ceramics and laughing with you and Harold. You were so kind to us all and an incredible teacher. Such talent and patience.
You were a friend of my parents growing up and it was an honor to interact with you after growing up and moving to Williston from Wildrose.
May memories of your mother bring all of her family peace at this difficult time. She was a special lady.
Rest in peace Arlene.

Tvedt family:
As some people journey through life, they leave footprints wherever they go- of kindness and love, courage and compassion, humor and inspiration, joy and faith. Even when they are no longer present, we can still look back and see the trail they left behind- a trail bright with hope that invites us to follow.
Praying you all will be comforted with precious memories and God's presence.
Psalm 89: 15 " Blessed are those who...walk in the light of Your Presence. "
I have many fond memories of Arlene. With deepest sympathy.

My thoughts and prayers are with Arlene’s family. Arlene was my professor when I attended UND-Williston. She was tough and strict but I have fond memories of her. After I moved to Williston and many years later, Harold and Arlene would drive by and admire my lawn and flowers. If I was outside, they would always stop and offer kind words.

I got to know Arlene when she taught a young man I cared for, Chesney. We visited every day for 5 plus years. She loved telling stories of growing up on the farm and how the family(s) worked together on some of the basic chores like laundry and ironing. She was a wonderful story teller. Our lives were blessed by her. She has earned her wings! My condolences.

My condolences to the family. I have not seen Arlene for many years but they use to help out with harvest on the farm when I was young. Many midnight suppers with them. Harold and Arlene were a lot of fun and probably the hardest working couple I have ever met.

Our tribute to a true pioneer Arlene was an inspiration to many! always facing new challenges and tragedies with a remarkable attitude. Lynn and I along with your family bless her with the legacy she left us and that legacy is how to handle everything thrown at you with grace and compassion while maintaining your faith in God Almighty, always looking for the good in people. Sending hugs and condolences for the Tvedt families. As a child I grew up in the neighborhood and graduated with Kory. I remember Arlene's yard was always beautiful and neat as a pin. And as youngsters got yelled at for stealing an apple or 2 and possibly stepping on the lawn. Keep Arlene's memories alive and may she rest in peace. I'm sure she is delegating Duties up there already. RIP

Zoanni & family,
I remember your mom's ceramic shop and when she was at Trinity. My children loved her. She was a good Christian woman. I know she'll be missed by all that knew her, but she's in heaven with her Lord & savior and all of those that have gone on before her. There was a huge celebration in heaven when she arrived and someday we will be reunited with our loved ones.
