Frances “Helen” Millette, 84, of Williston, ND, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Williston, ND.

Frances Helen (Pazderic) Millette was born in Fargo, ND on December 4, 1939 to Francis and Inez Pazderic. She was raised in the Lutheran Faith and attended Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from Central High School and furthered her education as an x-ray technician.

Helen met and married Richard (Al) Millette on March 3, 1962 and were married for 61 years. They were blessed with 5 children, Lisa, Lori, Amy, Beth and Joe. They moved several times before settling in Williston in 1977.

She loved her family fiercely and they know that her love for them stemmed from her love of God. Her strongest desire was that her family love Jesus as much as she did and that we had all accepted His gift of salvation for ourselves.

She was a gifted speaker in Christian Women’s Clubs in the 5-state area and she sought out opportunities to share her fervent love of Jesus and how He changed her life.

She had many friends that she cherished spending time with and loved them all immensely. She spent countless hours having coffee, going to lunches and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Al; 5 children, Lisa Hedlund, Lori (Rod) Burnett, Amy (Keith) Cheek, Beth (Jeff) Zarling, and Joseph Millette. Also, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren whom she adored. She is also survived by sisters, Darlene McIntyre, Susan Hall and Lori Yagow. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Pazderic, Inez Pazderic; and son-in-law, Warren Hedlund.
