October 6, 1931 - June 18, 2024

Place of Birth: Rural Alexander, ND
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 92

Lucille Paluck, 92 of Williston, ND passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at her residence with family by her side in Williston, ND.

Lucille Leona Paluck was born October 6, 1931, the oldest daughter of Carroll (Chip) and Leona Monson. She was raised and educated through many country schools, settling in Alexander and graduating with the class of 1949. Lucille furthered her education where she received a teaching certificate at Valley City Teachers College in Valley City, ND.

She married Tony Paluck on December 26, 1950. Tony and Lucille settled in Alexander for many years thinking that Alexander was a good place to raise their 3 children Greg, Dianne and Toni Sue. She was a secretary for the Alexander School System for 30 years.

Lucille enjoyed playing cards, sewing and crocheting. Many hours lovingly spent crocheting afghans for every member of her family. Often requested, she baked many buns and bread for family occasions. She loved collecting strawberries. As a result, the gifts she received from others made her memorabilia collection abundant. Her favorite passion over all was spending time reading.

She moved to Williston Senior Apartments, where she has lived for the past 12 years until the time of her death.

Lucille is survived by her son, Greg Paluck; daughter, Dianne Huebner; brother, Francis (Wanda) Monson; sister, Irene (Bill) Bell; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Leona Monson; husband, Tony Paluck; daughter, Toni Sue Paluck.
