Jeanie (Cruz) Siggard was born in Monterey, CA on December 15, 1958. She passed peacefully into her Lord and Savior’s arms on May 7, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Jeanie was as stubborn as she was loving. Jeanie was quick to praise and always ready to give encouragement. She would listen when you needed an ear and pray for you even when you didn't know you needed it. She loved and cared deeply for those close to her. For Jeanie, laughter was usually the answer. Whether making light of life's follies, or taking the edge off a difficult time, Jeanie's time with people close to her usually involved a lot of laughter and smiles.
Jeanie lived her early years in Monterey County, CA. This is where she would eventually raise her two children, Jaymi and Jarrod Mozeak. In 2002, on a whim and a prayer, Jeanie picked a plot of land in Sidney, Montana to call home. With 40 acres and multiple barns already on the property, this home became Jeanie's little slice of heaven on earth with an open sky as far as the eye could see, and most importantly, no neighbors. Jeanie never expected to meet the love of her life, Earl Siggard, in Montana, but God had other plans. She worked with Earl while driving trucks out of Sidney and they spent long hours conversing about life in the country, not knowing the coming romance would forever change the both of them. Jeanie and Earl were eventually wed on that same 40 acres she took a chance on years before. They made this place their home together, planting gardens and fruit trees, raising chickens, and making it a self-sustaining piece of land. This is where she lived out her final days, with the love of her life by her side, together looking out over big sky country; exactly where she wanted to be.
Jeanie is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Earl Siggard; her children, Jaymi Mozeak and Jarrod (LeeAnn) Mozeak, and her two grandchildren, Kai Loobey and Zahara Mozeak. Jeanie also leaves behind her best friend, Rita, whom she loved and trusted with her whole heart; a faithful friend in prayer and someone who Jeanie loved like a sister until the end.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents Pete and Shirley Cruz, and her brother Ricky Cruz.
Per Jeanie's request, no public service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a fruit tree in her memory.
