Claxton Vaughn Howe peacefully passed away on Monday May 12, 2025 at the Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND with family by his side.
Dear son Claxton,
I am so sorry, I’m sorry for everything. Mom and Dad don’t have all the answers to why and how come you’re still not earth side with us. I wish I truly knew why creator needed you more than us, my heart hurts for you. I feel so empty without you. I’m trying not to be selfish with you but it’s hard. Because we need to let you go, all your loved ones are waiting for your arrival.
I miss your early morning & late night kicks, I miss seeing you jump around on the sonograms. I miss feeding into all your cravings like spicy foods, onions, steaks, smoothies and slushes almost everyday. Your dad was the best about fulfilling all our cravings. I think he was just happy to have a reason to snack all the time with us haha. Your mama never used to like spicy foods so thank you for opening up my taste buds.
All I wanted was a son after your older sister Ivy, and we got blessed with you for a short while. I was so happy when we found out your gender, I told everyone I got my son! You fulfilled a piece of us that is everlasting, a piece we will cherish and love forever. Although we won’t get to see you grow up & see who you would become you would’ve been nothing shy of perfect.
From the moment we met you in person we were in aww, you were so little yet so perfect and so beautiful. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you, we held you 'til we couldn’t anymore. You fit perfectly in dad’s hand, he absolutely adored & protected you in the time we had together.
Thank you son for choosing us to be your parents, it was the best blessing and something we will honor for the rest of our lives. There wont be a day that goes by where we don’t think about you and miss you. And everyday that passes is a day closer to meeting you, but until then baby it’s time to lay you to rest and send you off in the best way we can. Mom and Dad love you forever and always our Claxton Vaughn Howe.
