Place of Birth: Minot, North Dakota

William Rudolph Geyer passed away at his home surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on Monday, June 16th, 2025.

Our dad was born in Minot, North Dakota on July 4th, 1936 to his mother, Frieda Geyer and father Rudolph Geyer.

After graduating from Saint Leo’s High School he earned a degree in education at Minot State Teacher’s College and served in Germany with the U.S. Army.

Dad married our mother, Margaret “Peggy” Rose Hunter on January 6th, 1962.

He is survived by our mother, Peggy; his children, William, Mary, Brian, Jennifer and Caron; his grandchildren, Mariah, Michaela, Christopher, Chloe and Ethan; and his great-grandchildren Alara and Madilyn.

Dad spent his life teaching his children and building memories of the highest treasure. He loved building, landscaping, gardening, hunting, fishing and all things where he could spend time under the giant sky with the people he loves.

Dad enjoyed playing basketball, football and curling.

Dad is preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Frieda; and by his brother, Gary Geyer.

We miss you, but we will be with you again, forever.
