Betty Mae Ulvog, 89, went to bed in the evening and woke up the next morning in the presence of her Lord, passing away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in Williston, ND.

Betty was born December 14, 1935 to George and Opal Radigan and raised in Vermillion, South Dakota. Betty met James when he was selling popcorn at her father’s popcorn stand which led to their marriage on May 29, 1955. They were blessed with 4 children: James, Richard, Douglas, and Dawn.

After moving to Kansas then Maryland and her husband’s retirement, they lived outside Front Royal, Virginia, in a house they built together. In 2005, they moved to California. After her husband’s death, she moved to Williston, North Dakota.

Betty was the surviving child of George and Opal (Richardson) Radigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Richard. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, James, and two sons, Richard and Douglas.

She is survived by two children, James (Beth) Ulvog and Dawn (Al) Gonsoulin, two grandchildren, David (Misty) and Jacob, and five great-grandchildren.
