It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Darlene Jasper
August 12, 1951 - August 27, 2025

Residence: Maricopa, AZ formerly of Culbertson, MT

Darlene Joan Jasper, 74, of Maricopa, AZ, formerly Culbertson, MT, entered eternal rest on August 27, 2025, after a long and valiant battle with cancer at her home surrounded by family. “Dar” was born on August 12, 1951 to Thomas and Dolores Harmon in Scobey, MT. She would eventually move to Bainville, MT where she graduated from high school in 1969.

George Jasper was the love of Dar’s life. They would enjoy 37 years of marriage together and raise their four children; Jennifer, Melanie, Rako, and Travis. They enjoyed camping, boating, fishing (Dar enjoyed watching everybody fish), attending country western concerts, and the local Trail Rides every Labor Day weekend. Dar was incredibly creative and turned her passion for sewing into a successful local business, Dar’s Designs. People came from near and far to purchase one (or many) of her beautiful quilts; she likes to share that Hilary Clinton and John Tester even have her quilts. Dar’s passions also included cooking/baking for family gatherings, reading, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren. Dar never settled for mediocre, everything she did emanated with greatness and compassion, especially the way she loved.

Dar and George relocated to Maricopa, AZ in 2020, where they cherished their time with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and making memories to last a lifetime. Dar retired in 2023 in Maricopa, but continued to enjoy sewing “for the fun of it”. She got the biggest kick out of making her great-granddaughters little matching dresses. There really wasn’t anything Dar couldn’t do with a sewing machine. Creating beautiful pieces and gifting them to friends and family was Dar’s unique love language.

Dar is survived by her children, Jennifer (Michael) Cameron, Melanie (Brad) Rapp, Rako (Melissa) Zech, & Travis (Amber) Zech; her twelve grandchildren; (from Jennifer) Jennessa and Kennedee; (from Melanie) Tyler (Madison) and Austin (Savannah); (from Rako) Samuel, Kara, Libby, Peter, Emma, and Luke; (from Travis) Nora and Janick; her two step-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Grace (Mike); and her four great-grandchildren, Everli (Jennessa), Rylee & Ryder (Tyler), Thea (Grace), and one more expected soon, Easton (Austin). She is also survived by her siblings, Ken Harmon (Maria), Rick Harmon, & Kathy Haugjorde, as well as numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dar was preceded in death by her father (Thomas Harmon), her mother (Dolores Harmon), her husband (George Jasper), her brother (Tom Harmon), her sister (“DeeDee” Emma Johnson); and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Our dearest sister Darlene
You traveled miles last year with your four children to come visit us in Crete.
We shared laughter, happy moments and then we said see you later.
Now you travel on Angel wings to heaven. May the lord hold you in his arms and give you eternal peace and love. We well forever keep you in our hearts.
KEN & Maria
