Jesse Black, 42, of Williston, ND passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his residence in Williston, ND. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston is assisting the family.

Jesse Walter Black was born in Spokane, Washington on September 28, 1983 to Linda Shields and Alan Black.

Jesse married Leslie Wright on March 12, 2020.

He enjoyed playing video games with his friends. Jesse very much loved watching movies and used them to bond with his loved ones.

Jesse’s love of his family was paramount in his life. He will be forever loved and missed by all that loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie; son, Evan; parents, Alan Black and Linda Shields; brothers, Tim Viall, Franklin Black; grandparents, Tom and Sadie Shields and aunts and uncles, Tom, Frank and Wanda.

Jesse is preceded in death by his brother, Jarred Alan Black; and his children, Jesse Jaden, Katherine, Ezra, and Brandon Black.
