It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Bentley Colton Patzer
February 18, 2015 - October 28, 2025

Place of Birth: Minot, North Dakota
Residence: Palermo, North Dakota
Age: 10

Bentley Patzer, 10, of Palermo, North Dakota, passed away from complications with his asthma on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at his home in Palermo, North Dakota.

From the moment of Bentley’s birth, he captivated everyone with his beautiful baby blue eyes and infectious smile. He’s the most lovable, handsome boy, always proud of his full head of curls. Outgoing and full of life, Bentley loved to be goofy and make everyone around him laugh.

Even through his toughest battles, he never stopped smiling for those he loved. His greatest gift to the world was the joy he brought through his one-of-a-kind personality—his unique dance moves, expressive eyebrows, and signature “bombastic side eye” that never failed to make everyone laugh. Bentley could outsmart, outwit, and outdance anyone who dared to challenge him.

Bentley’s compassionate soul left a lasting, positive impact on everyone he met. At school, his big heart and sense of humor shined brightly. He was recognized with awards such as “Purposeful Empathy,” celebrating his remarkable ability to understand and connect with others, and “Class Clown,” for bringing endless joy and laughter to his classmates.

Above all, Bentley adored his momma with all his heart—they were truly best friends. Their bond is unbreakable, their love unmatched. He never missed a chance to tell her how much he loved her and how thankful he is to have her as his momma.

Though his time with us was far too short, Bentley’s bright spirit continues to shine like the stars in the galaxy he loved so much. He lives on in the hearts of all who know and love him. We will not let his light fade. We will carry it forward, spreading the love, laughter, and happiness that will forever be our sweet Bentley boy.

Rest easy, baby. We love you forever.

I don't know your son Bentley, but I am so very sorry for your loss. I too suffer from asthma and know the fear and stress it causes me--to be so terribly young just BREAKS MY HEART. May God be with you all--In Christ
