Barbara J. Ceglowski/Gravgaard, 87, of Williston, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026.
Barbara was born on October 14, 1938, in Bottineau, North Dakota, to Everett "Scotty" and Lila (Acheson) Fairweather. She grew up with her parents and brother Richard in Souris, Devils Lake, and Bowbells, North Dakota, graduating from Bowbells High School in 1956. After high school, she worked at the ASC office in Bowbells and later at Medical Arts Clinic in Minot.
On August 19, 1961, she married Henry "Hank" Ceglowski. The couple lived in Glenburn and Grand Forks before settling in Williston in 1962, where they raised their four children. Henry passed away in 1994. Barbara worked at Mercy Hospital and the Williston Post Office, retiring in 1999.
On August 15, 1999, she married Ronald Gravgaard at the Chapel in the Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota. They made their home in Williston and enjoyed winter months in Arizona. Ronald passed away in 2012.
Barbara lived a vibrant, active life full of adventure and love. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, playing bridge, skiing, and always trying new things. Above all, she cherished time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dear friends—her greatest joy and legacy.
She is survived by her three children: Mark (Sue) Ceglowski, Jana (Jerry) Anderson, and Scott (Stacey) Ceglowski; her stepchildren: Roger (Mia) Gravgaard, Ronelle Gravgaard, and Renee (Kent) Schneider; 15 grandchildren: Lyndsie Baker, Kris (Alex) Chislom, Riley Ceglowski/Brian Glassey, Taryn (Steve) Brown, Abby Ceglowski/Nick Jorenby, Alexis (Bryce) Robinson, Britney (Paul) Grutkowski, Briana (Cole) Chezum, Sydney Anderson/Andoni Oakes, Derek (Kasie) Ceglowski, Kyleigh (Ross) Norby, Jacie Ceglowski/Wayne Little, Karsen Ceglowski; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by step-grandchildren Aby Gravgaard and Marlee Schneider, along with many extended family members and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Richard; her husbands Henry Ceglowski and Ronald Gravgaard; and her daughter Cathie Ceglowski.
Barbara's warm spirit, adventurous heart, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. Her family finds comfort in celebrating 87 full, beautiful years of a life well-lived.
