Maxine Delores Wright Brewer, 79, of Bringhurst, IN, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Assisted Living in Delphi, Indiana.

Maxine was born on November 8, 1946, in Stanley, ND, to the late Lyle & Hilda Rogstad Wright. Her marriage was to Stephen E. Brewer at the Knife River Church in Stanley, on October 24, 1968.

Maxine graduated from high school in 1946 in Stanley and received her associate degree from the Minot Business College. Maxine was a homemaker and worked as a cook at the Carroll Jr-Sr School Corporation near Flora, IN.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen E. Brewer of Bringhurst; sons, James & Tracy Brewer of Bringhurst, Michael R. Brewer of Palermo, ND, and Philip & Ashley Brewer of Denver, CO; brothers, Jerry & Sur Wright of Glenwood, MN and Thomas & Deb Wright of Palermo, ND; 4 granddaughters & 2 grandsons.
