Gregory Allen Volz
October 25, 1963 - February 26, 2026

Place of Birth: Ray, North Dakota
Age: 62

Gregory Allen Volz was born in Ray, North Dakota, to Arnold and Lila Volz. He spent many years in Arizona, where he raised his family and built a close-knit community of lifelong friends. In later years, Greg returned to North Dakota, where he cherished spending time with family, reconnecting with old friends, and forming many new friendships.

Known for having the loudest laugh in the room and an extraordinary ability to make something special out of even the simplest moments, Greg brought joy wherever he went. He was a compassionate, sentimental, and generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand, even during his own most difficult times. His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine care for others touched countless lives. No matter where life took him, Greg had a remarkable gift for creating a sense of community and making everyone feel welcome. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Greg is survived by his children, Riely Volz of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Ryan (Erica) Volz of Wichita, Kansas; his granddaughter, Arla Volz of Wichita, Kansas; his brother, Gary Volz of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his sister, LeAnn Herman of Las Vegas, Nevada.
